Mrs. Jennie Chancey of

In honor of the re-launching of LAF, we are having a Spring Sale on our paper dolls.
hat a thrill to see this fantastic collection of historical paper dolls from the talented Brookshires! The careful research that went into each character and her costumes is obvious, page after beautiful page. You hold in your hands what I consider the finest historical paper dolls available today. The beauty of the artwork was an immediate draw for me, but the biographical sketches and meticulous attention to detail in the costumes are what held me enthralled. It is a delight to have accurate, lovely representations of our godly foremothers, and my daughters are going to thoroughly enjoy reenacting their stories through these sets. I look forward to seeing more from the Brookshires!”

. . . in which a genius would wish to live. It is not in the still calm of life, or the repose of a pacific station, that great characters are formed. The habits of a vigorous mind are formed in contending with difficulties. Great necessities call out great virtues. When a mind is raised, and animated by scenes that engage the heart, then those qualities which would otherwise lay dormant, wake into life and form the character of the hero and the statesman.“
— Abigail Adams (1744 – 1818)
